So I stopped this morning on the way home from work and picked up the wine. At 9.99 good price . It is pretty good. Light semi-sweet and fills your chest with warmth. This would be good on a cold night. Which down here is probably another 3 months away. I also bought Hatch cheese, hummus, pita chips, and the Hatch chicken salad. I think there is a pattern. The wine is from Southwest Winery Deming, New Mexico.

Since I work nights 8 am is my 8 pm

The funny thing is, getting a natural chile taste in wine is not rare. It is common in Syrah, particularly those grown in cooler climes, and Bordeaux varietals. Pyrazines, I believe. But it can run off into mushy green "vegetal" tastes. As in such things, balance.
