So I'm standing in line for drinks at this show and their lines aren't really clear. So there's this short line and I jump into it. Well this lady has a cow because she's standing in the long line and has been waiting longer than me. I'm thinking why didn't you go into the shorter line.

But I don't really care so I invite her to please go in front of me. Well she does but then she proceeds to complain to her date for the next 5 min about the injustice of the line system.

I know who's not answering the call for the second date!

The funny thing is by inviting her to go in front I look like the good guy to everyone standing there and she looks like the total bitch.

    Oops!

Seems to me the complaining shrew bitches of the world are rarely real good looking.
    Perhaps more than a coincidence?

I find myself in a similar situation at the cage usually. For example, 3 windows open, 2 people in one line, 4 in next, 2 in last. You don't know if someone is cashing a few chips, 20 slot vouchers, or cash advance. The line with 2 people could take longer than a line with 5. It's a gamble lol.

So I take it upon myself to form a seperate secondary line to feed the main lines when openings become available. Kind of like a must-move table in poker. I do this because I don't like hopping in the short-line and beating someone who arrived prior to me. But now when I'm being courteous of others, I take offense to those that show up and bypass my imaginary line. Cage lines can be a hostile environment, but I always keep my cool. Even to those that merge into a light jog to beat me to an open window. I just say "Go ahead, your saving me money. I'm in no rush to get back out there in lose."

So ya, the line system sucks. But to lose your cool is just sad. You played it good offering her the cut option.
