Some of the larger players on the board can probably answer this question the best from experience but at what level do you get the most bang for your play. At a certain point you have all of the nice food you can eat comped and a nice suite, I believe it was a few months ago on the old board that some players talked about lowering their level of play and saying the amount of comps they got didn't dramatically change. Obviously at the lower end you won't have the theo to do everything you want or drink(bottles of wine).

I think it depends on whether you have a wine habit. If you don't have a wine habit then food doesn't really cost that much; the big cost will be the rooms. If you are happy with a Skyloft or a nice suite at any of the casinos, I think 1000 bucks a day for food and beverage should be fine. So you only need to generate about 2500-3000 in theo.

If you don't mind a smaller suite or normal room, you can be very happy on 300-500 bucks a day, which will only cost you 1200 in theo.

So basically around 4 hours at 300 bucks or so in any game except paigow poker and you should be fine.

My calculations might be widely off...lol

Is there any major difference in benefits received being a 50K player vs a 100K player vs a 250K player?

Almost NO DIFFERENCE b/n 50-100k. I can't answer for higher than that.

Moving from 100 to 250 you're looking at AQ for most any tourney you want and getting the bigger suites/villas on all but the absolute biggest weekends. Also possibilities for entry into the elite level unpublished 1M tourneys. Also you can get increased betting limits and being able to reserve tables.
