After three decades plus of baccarat, I pretty much know my style and my outcomes from the beginning.

There is either Win, Lose or Roller Coaster. For me, if I win, it is generally from the very beginning. Possible I can win with a Roller Coaster (ups and downs) but to sit down and straight straight losing, it will be bad.

That is mine and I know because I have been playing pretty consistently since 1980 or so, LOL, when the Playboy Casino and Resort was in Atlantic City and player's had a dress code, which meant, jackets and slacks or no entrance to the casino. Sorry, no hoodies and jeans with holes or your underwear showing allowed back then!

I don't mean 1 or 3 hands, I am talking about winning or losing like 15 out of 20 in the beginning. I could lose and then all of a sudden win every single hand and then repeat and repeat, that is my Roller Coaster.

win, lose, rollercoaster? isnt that the start of any session for any gambler? What is the average length of your winning and losing sessions? Do you have a stop loss? or just chase when you start losing and bust yourself?

I think the start of a session is the most important phase.... I was playing BJ a couple years ago in Vegas on my birthday. I kept chasing losses and was down 4400,,,,,,,,,,,
I got pumped up and pissed off and went to $200 a hand and clawed all the way back and cashed out 4450.......

I went to the cage and the lady said that I had a great day. I told her that I only won $50,,,,,,,, but it was a great day....

In the past I seldom would stop unless I at least doubled my BR.
All my largest wins are generally from winning from the on-set.
My other wins are generally being on a roller coaster from the on-set.
Losing from the beginning, I generally never am able to re-coup or grind away to neutral or a win.

I risk my BR most of the time, don't do stop-losses.
    Usually 3 to 5 shoes.

    Locally, same night.

Vegas, Min 4 days to around a week.
AC/South Florida and other HL rooms, 3-6 days.

So if you are getting smoked in a session and see thats its heading bad why dont you quit before you bust. knowing that you cant make a big run for a win?

I do so a bit more these days than before, but still hard to leave a table with 'possible hopes' most times.

It's difficult to leave when getting crushed for me because I "remember" "all those times" when I mounted a comeback with my last $200 and got back to even or +$ ...

It's such a terrible leak in my game, I know!

You are right remembering all those good times is what built Vegas. Learning to properly manage your bankroll and tilt control is the key to gambling but goddamn it very hard to master lol

'Just a couple more hands' is what creeps into my brain when I'm in this situation. Ugh.

I do better with my wins now that I strictly employ my 1/3rd system of Money Management. But it is extremely hard to think clear and straight and realize what we know outside the casino when you are inside the casino winning tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands.
