I just picked up a Galaxy Note 5 yesterday. Was using a Note 3.

Is it just me or does the 5 feel like an iPhone 6 Plus? Even Lollipop feels like iOS.

I have a Samsung S6 and I definitely enjoy being out of Apple's control. With that said I think on my next phone I may try one of the new Google phones, their plan structure and pricing is very attractive. Another bonus is I could use it in Jamaica on my extended winter trip.

I'm still using my Google Nexus 4 I bought in the summer of 2013. It's running Lollipop but didn't/won't get the Marshmallow update. I have my eye on the two newest Nexus phones but really don't want anything much larger than what I have now. I hate that the smaller phones tend to have inferior specs.

The 5 is so different than the 4. My wife has had the 4 for a year and it's almost identical to my 3.

The 5 is like a whole new everything.
