Introduction

First of all, welcome to vegasboards.com (VB), and thank you for becoming a member of the only Vegas forum on the net built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

VB has one simple mission: to provide the savvy Vegas-lover the opportunity to connect with other likeminded individuals and share information and knowledge in an non-sanitized community built on transparency.

Of the people, by the people and for the people is the motto at VB and as such you won't find a ridiculously long set of dos and don't created by some dictator ruling with an iron fist. We trust the community to set the tone.

If you like censorship and a Pollyanna utopia, you've come to the wrong place. We're real people who are allowed to be themselves with real thoughts and opinions. You can feel free to speak your mind and share your opinion. Debates are encouraged as we all see things differently.

That said, this is a community for adults and you are expected to act like an adult and treat each other with respect.

Out of that respect for the community, here are a few things that will not fly:

• Racial epithets
• Flame wars
• Trolling
• Sexually explicit content outside of the "Hookers and Blow" forum
• Denigrating references to race, color, creed or sexual preference

Many in our community are legitimate "high rollers" and "whales", although you won't see those terms used around here very frequently as they are generally only used by the uninformed outsiders. This isn't a fanboy site with wanabees and posers. You'll find that fake "high rollers" with made-up tales and stories are sniffed out very quickly.

If you're new to Vegas, there's much to learn here, so stick around. We don't bite ... too hard.
