The semi-traditional K family (Mrs. And Mr.) Thanksgiving is almost upon us and we have a dilemma. We're meeting up with my dad and stepmom and they are staying at Aria. Usually we'd either stay at Aria or MC but we're tired of both and prefer a smoking room. Since this year has been not been great financially for us, we want to take advantage of our comps (2 to 3 nights +50-100 RC and FP at both Mlife and CET) but . . . we really want to stay at Cosmo. Need a terrace for smoking, but no other requirements. Any tips for getting a good rate? Have almost never played there, so no comps. Don't want to count on back-end comps.

I saw a cosmo host around the boards offering to match any offer you have from any vegas property. Maybe you can try that.

There is a 25% off promotion for the Cosmopolitan going on.

Non holiday dates around the holidays are some of the lowest rates of the year.

I think it needs to be a strip comp. An offer from the El Cortez doesn't exactly stack up to the Cosmo.

Matching is also more geared to slot players. I'm primarily a table player. Cosmo gave me an upfront room comp, but wouldn't match my offer for table vouchers. My understanding is that Cosmo doesn't do promo chips/table vouchers.

Who is the Cosmo host offering to match strip offers? My wife has been dying to stay there, but we haven't been able to get much in the way of comps or matching of offers since we don't play at Cosmo much

Did you see the Black Friday 50% off room offers ? Not a comp but a good start if you cannot find anything better
