I would be really grateful for your input. I would like to gather some data on recent trips to Vegas where video poker was your primary form of degenerate behaviour!

Copy and paste with answers to as many of the following questions as you feel comfortable with:

Month & year of last trip:
Primary value played (25c, $1, etc):
Primary location played (MGM, CET, etc):
    Always max coins (Yes/No):
    Number of premium hands:
    Number of handpays:
    Was it a winning trip:

    Thanks for your input.

    Ok, I'll go first:

Month & year of last trip: Dec 2015
Primary value played (25c, $1, etc): .25 mostly but we do change it up with .50 and $1
Primary location played (MGM, CET, etc): CET and Cosmo, pretty even split
    Always max coins (Yes/No): Yes
Number of premium hands: I'm afraid I have no idea. I'd say <20 on that trip, despite a lot of play
    Number of handpays: None
Was it a winning trip: No

I am going to be a little lazy and cut and past some of this from my last trip.

Month & year of last trip: March 2016
Primary value played (25c, $1, etc): See below
Primary location played (MGM, CET, etc): Mostly V/P and MGM but some at Wynn and Planet Hollywood
    Always max coins (Yes/No): Yes
Number of premium hands: See below
Number of handpays: 11 or so
Was it a winning trip: nope

I would say about 90% of the play this time was at Dollars. 63% on STP, 35% DSTP and 2% non-STP. All DDB. Based on my last trip where I played almost all DSTP, the multipliers definitely happened a lot less that I would have liked but neither MGM or Venetian/P had DSTP at dollars and Venetian only had STP on 5 play, no 10 play. I didn't find it at Quarters at V/P and MGM only has one machine.

    Quarter Level :

    Royal Flush – 0
    Straight Flush – 0
    A’s with kicker - 1
    A’s – 4 (5x)
    2-4s with kicker – 1
    2-4s – 2
    5-Ks – 14

    Dollar Level :

    Royal Flush – 1
    Straight Flush – 2
    A’s with kicker - 3
    A’s – 9
    2-4s with kicker – 4
    2-4s – 16 (3x, (2)5x)
    5-Ks – 46 (3x, 2x)

    Total number of 4oaK - 101

Other notable hands (to me at least)

    10x Dealt 3oak (1500)
    5x Dealt Full House (2000)
    4x Dealt Full House (1600)

Month & year of last trip: 2/16
    Primary value played (25c, $1, etc): $.50 & $1
Primary location played (MGM, CET, etc): Mirage & Bellagio
    Always max coins (Yes/No): Yes
Number of premium hands: If you define "premium hand" as 4oak or better, I estimate 20-24 over 3 days...
    Number of handpays: 2 ( $3000 & $1440 ) The 2nd VP machine I sat down at upon arrival dealt me the $3000 (TDP 4-2's w/kicker)
Was it a winning trip: About even this time.

@riders, and anyone else for that matter, have you noticed a tightening of the average number of hands between multipliers for Super Times Pay at MGM casinos?

Last time I was at the Aria, I was playing the famed row 802 / 803, and the HBMs was HUGE. We're talking 50+ hands between multipliers. Maybe even more.

The pay tables on that row are already crappy and with the multipliers being so scarce, I hardly played STP or DSTP at all last trip.

Number of premium hands: a couple of quad aces. 1 aces with a kicker. A few quad 2 thru 4's but not enough
    Number of handpays: 0

It seems that STP the multipliers come a lot less often than you would expect and I have not been very successful with STP. However, on DSTP they seem to come more than the expected double. I have also noticed they seem to come in bunches/cycles. I am sure this is just my feeling but if I haven't seen them in awhile, I will get a few within the next few hands.
