Tommorrow is the day for our first trip to Vegas. The wife and I fly out of Philly on a red eye arriving @ 11 PM or so. Being from Jersey I go to AC a few times a year. I love to gamble and the wife hates it. We'll see how that goes, but I plan to gambol as much as my small bankroll will let me. The plan is mostly tables games, no poker. Working with a firm $3500 BR. The wife stuck $20 bucks in a slot machine once ever. Lost it in 30 seconds and hasn't gambled since. Hoping to find a game she enjoys which will extend my casino time. If not, I'll send her off to the spa.

We have Beatles Love booked and will likely do 1 other show.

Friday night we have avg. floor seats to see Rihanna @ Mandalay Bay

Restaurants we have planned are Portofino, Country Club, Border Grill before concert and Brunch @ Mon Ami Gabi.

We plan to spend 1 afternoon/night Downtown to check out the Fremont District.

No other set plans except for unreasonable amounts of alcohol. This will probably not be a live TR, but I hope to update with plenty of photos along the way.

Nice. Good luck. Where are you staying? You should enjoy Love. I've seen it three times. MJ One is the best though. I'm gonna look into taking the old lady Sunday evening if I can find something decent.

You'll like the Wynn. It's very nice. They're pretty much anti-kid too.

 

Your wife might just fall in love with Vegas. It is so much better than AC. Have her try 3 card poker or roulette and hope she wins a little and gets hooked. Then take her shopping then to the pool and the spa. Follow that up with some nice dinners.

My wife was/is the same way. She HATES losing money. If you ever earn free slot play let her use that instead of real $ and let her look for some silly slot machine that she thinks she'll enjoy (my wife loves cupcakes and chickens, so we play a party slot at Aria and Yardbirds where we can find it hahah)

I'm lucky that she took some kind of interest in understanding basic blackjack strategy and enjoyed playing enough on her phone to try it out when she and I can get a table to ourselves.
