Heading out to Vegas for a Cosmo Double Slot Tournament on May 13th.

I love horror movies, so really enjoying the date! Hoping it bring me more luck than April Fool’s, where I pretty much ended up the fool. I will likely try to play any “horror” related slots I can find that day, just because : )

Who:
· Me of course
· S – wife of a former coworker, totally laid back friend who is cool with us splitting up or hanging together. No relation to PT’s “S”
· Anyone else from the boards who wants to say hi, have a drink, meal, or meet up!

Where:
· Cosmopolitan – sharing a Terrace Suite w/ S.
· Planet Hollywood – Unoccupied comped room, king of some variety

When:
· S arrives on Thursday evening, staying with relative and will meet me on strip Friday morning
· S departs early Sunday morning
· I arrive Friday at 6:30 AM – have room for Thursday night so I can check in right away.
· I depart Sunday afternoon

What:
· Cosmo slot tournament
o Register on Friday afternoon
o Friday Tournament
o Saturday Tournament (then prizes and drawing)
· Drinking, lots of drinking
· Pool – eh, maybe, but so little time

Drinks:
· Verbena? – can you believe I still haven’t had one!
· Lychee Martini hopefully
· Shake from Holsteins, haven’t done that yet either
· Dirty Shirley, with cherries of course

Food:
· Beauty and Essex – heard it was opening Saturday, but can I get in, and do I want to…?
· Jaleo or Rose Rabbit Lie
· Henry (no SREB for me, I like the california omelet, with avocado on top, and the fruit platter!)
· Don’t know what else, depends on S’s budget for food : )

Bankroll:
· Strict $1500 due to last month’s fiasco, must redeem myself to husband
· FP from Cosmo (I think it’s 100-200 w/ tournament, usually around 600ish)
· FP from PHO - $375

Games:
· Slots – lots of slots – 1c to $1
· High Limit Slot – probably less due to budget constraints and being with S (highly subject to change)
· Craps – maybe, I need to read up and practice, last time I was a virgin, we’ll see how S feels
· May dabble in carny games, but usually don’t, if S wants to, I’ll blow a few bucks here and there

Disclaimer:
I plan to have fun, and share as much as I can. These short trips are harder to update as Vegas time is extremely precious on an effectively 2 day trip, so while I intend for it to be live, I need to balance that with my reunion with S and the brevity of the trip. I will respond to everyone if I can, and if I don’t, please know that it is due to time savings. I will definitely be reading and appreciate interaction! When I go in June for a 10-day trip, the posts/responses will be easier. Also, I am posting this on my favorite TWO boards. I know this has been a debate at times, but it’s what makes sense for me. I have “friends” in both places, and because I’m used to doing Live TRs, it isn’t too much extra for me. All I do is duplicate my main post and insert pictures, it really only takes a few more seconds. A few things are unique due to conversations that come up. I may also post more “less relevant” things in whichever thread has more interaction.

I don't have anything schedule after June yet. Harder to get off work and I try to deplete vacation early in year. Oct is a probably, anything else in between is a crapshoot.
