So.. the last trip to PA was in part getting some more bankroll for a cruise on the NCL Jade from Venice, Italy coming up in a week and a half. Going with the wife, her parents, and her sister. Casinos on the NCL ships tend to be a little better equipped than the ones from other cruise lines (HL is typically 100-2k, 6 deck BJ with decent rules offered, Baccarat + PGP on many ships). This'll be my 6th cruise on NCL and I usually squeeze enough from the tables to cover the taxes, excursions, obligatory art auctions, and whatever we end up buying from the various ports of call. So - I'll try and keep this updated with tidbits from the cruise. Ports: Venice => Dubrovnik (Croatia) => Athens => Santorini => Split (Croatia) = Venice. The original itinerary was supposed to have included Turkey, but I think NCL changed the cruise from under us after that Russian fighter got shot down...
This cruise includes 2 days at sea - so... heh. I'll probably be hitting the table hard.

So - last night in Venice.
    Cruise starts tomorrow.
For a place that has so many dark dead-end looking walkways in this pedestrian-only city, it's somehow relatively safe.
By comparison - one of our folks had his wallet picked in the Milan subway today when we went over for a day trip. Ugh.
The wife has kept me away from the casino here in Venice - apparently the oldest one in Europe. I'm thinking I didn't miss much - given the heavily negative yelp reviews.
I will have plenty of time to take some whacks at the tables on the boat all week.

    So - leaving Dubrovnik now.
Interesting town - lots of Game of Thrones stuff here...
Gaming has been a yoyo. Been going +/- 1k-ish for the past few sessions - right now at -600 - so really well within means of recovering...
Tomorrow's a day at sea, so... onwards :)

And... the post mortem on this one - bad bad and bad. Got back to even after that last post, but then proceeded to get sliced and diced for the remainder of the trip. -6k on the trip, but they took off ~500 from the room charges.
