Snow is imminent in Minnesota. I repeat, imminent. Second job has just begun for the season, work days will be from 5AM until 10PM for the next four months. Time to get away one more time!

Geotwink missed out on the last GGWU so I told her I'd be happy to take her this time. 8PM flight out of MSP, arrive at PH about 10PM tonight.

First win of the trip was this morning from Geotwink--"It's going to only be 50's in Vegas? Hmm...what do I have that is low cut with long sleeves?"

Touchdown! Speaking of touchdowns, found a winning ticket from my last trip I had completely forgotten about. Came from the game where the Broncos returned a blocked Saints extra point for the winning two points.

Playing at the bar at PH, hit a quad to put me even. Yay, I get to drink some more!!

 

Slots have been a killer tonight. Hit a spin on $25 WoF and it was a shitty $625. Trying to make a few hundred back at poker.

 

I have found when people go dark for a number of hours they are usually taking a Ron Jeremy hedgehog type pounding, and I am no exception. I felt like I played table games pretty well and variance was nowhere to be found. Only tiny win was on craps, after 3 straight PSO's I walked $200 up. But it was weird, all the winnings were from hitting points--I never got the 6's or 8's above $30 on a $10 table.

So let's just try to look at the positives.

1. I got sufficiently popped.
2. While at craps, I stated, "I know that box." and the stick man said, "You know Newmans too?"
3. Geotwink was up waiting for me when I got back to the room so I enjoyed her company for 30 minutes before bed.
