Out of all the good movies and all the great scenes, which are plentiful without a doubt. IMO, here are my 2 best, the best of the best, as one would say.

The #1 and Number 1 of all time, bar none:
(The whole scene is great but for those of you that cannot watch it, start it at 3:00 and you will get the gist of it)

#2 and again, IMO intense, powerful and realistic:

there are a lot of good scenes in movies - almost too many to list or rank.

Here are a couple other good scenes off the top of my head:

the Horse head scene from Godfather

the "you can't handle the truth" speech from Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men". IMO, one of the best speeches in a movie.

Cool Hand Luke - the speech by the Boss about "we have a failure to communicate"

Apocolypse Now - the speech by Marlon Brando when they found him in the jungle

All great. Maybe not as well acted, but one of the most impactful scenes on a storyline would have to be

    "Luke, I am your father"

For a little comedy... perhaps you need to see the movie to put things in context, but I think it's funny enough on it's own. Love Melissa McCarthy!

I'd pick something from a Tarentino film, but he writes so much good dialougue that I can't decide.

Maybe the opening and closing scenes from "Inglorious Basterds". I had no idea who Christolph Waltz was, but he was brilliant.
