My best G-rated stress relievers are a long run (preferably in hot, humid, sunny conditions), or a couple hours at the gym hitting the weights hard, followed by an hour of yoga or Pilates.
The more I sweat the better it relieves stress ;)

Golfing is tops for me. Any discussion of a "perfect day" includes golf at some point.

Another favorite is my local bar for a drink or two after a long day at work. Almost everyone I know goes there and the busiest times are from about 4:30pm to 7pm during the week. It's a small hole in the wall but a few minutes bullshitting with friends and enjoying a drink can make up for all the shit I dealt with during the day.

biking and elliptical are what does it for me as far as exercise goes. Smoking, drinking, gambling, and woman, are the less g rated ones, and my preference.

Golf can go either way. If I have a bad start I'll start fuming more and that ruins the idea of a stress reliever. I play a lot of tennis, and even if I'm not having a great day, the ability to slam an overhead or two does wonders for your stress level.

The cardio stuff does nothing for my stress level. But hitting the weights hard does wonders. Unfortunately, so does the booze. But what are you gonna do.

Watching clay pigeons explode into a million pieces is pretty soothing too.

    The gun range always works:)

Around here, in SoCal, a quick trip to one of the local beaches always helps too...the sights, the sounds, the breeze...always relaxing...not so much the parking...or the traffic...ok, I'm stressed thinking about the traffic and the parking.
