Live Solo PH/Cosmo Aug 20-26

    Hi all,

    never wrote a live trip report and will not promise anything :)

    I arrived Saturday evening after a long trip,Bern-Zurich-Heathrow-Dublin-Heathrow-Vegas (yes I do spend time to save money obviously). Business class $1200, not too bad, booked nearly 9 month ago on a great offer from BA

    Used my first Uber and will do that for sure more often when in Vegas at least. Rental car this time only for the last 3 days instead whole week

    Checked in to PH with some trouble, had a reservation for one of the new Ultrahip fountain view rooms but they tried giving me some old no view instead first. But OK now, like the room and view now

    Down to the casino for some first day gambling, lost at every single slot without any nice bonuses or whatsoever

    This morning up early as usual due to 9 hours time difference from home.

    First stop,Earl of Sandwich, which I absolutely love. Was wondering about all the hype when I read it in reports, since my first visit last trip I understand

    I'm confused how many stops/layover/plane changes on the way out here. How long did it take for you to get to Vegas??

    Train to Zurich, stop LHR, stop in DUB overnight, stop in LHR again (nice, eh?) and then finally LAS. Pure travel not counting the overnight it were 25 hours I think
