I pulled the trigger on what I think will be a solo trip for next month. As of right now doesnt look like my usual fellow travelers can make it. Never gone alone and not too sure what to expect. But I had to pull the trigger. Just turned 40 and the wife is due with #2 in July. It was either now or never to celebrate.

Staying at the Mirage. Any favorite haunts to hit solo? Gambling alone is no problem. Mostly wondering where people go to eat dinner solo. There for 4 nites, would probably like to hit at least a couple nicer places. Probably looking to sit at the bar and order food there...

I go anywhere to eat solo I normally would.

Depending on the place I'll sit at the bar or just get my own table.

I stay at the mirage pretty frequently and I usually go to Stack a couple times. I will do steak one night and the other night I will do chicken wings and a few other apps. The females in there are great scenery.

    +1

Sit at the bar, bring a newspaper, book, smartphone, tablet, the odds sheets for sports you want to bet...

Don't sweat it. Vegas solo is great.

Most of my trips are solo and I do enjoy them more. Not having to worry about what other people want to do and when is just more relaxing. I have a great time with others but never as relaxing or care free. I enjoy eating at the bars. Most bartenders have some great stories if you get to know them. Have a great trip.

Anyone see Love at the Mirage? I think I can get a free ticket thru the Myvegas. Is it worth it? I saw Ka a while back. Now, the jumping and the spinning and such were all very impressive. But I fell asleep... In my defense I was drunk and had been up for 24 hrs at that pt.

Love is a great show and worth seeing once.

You can sit at the bar at almost any of the nicer restaurants. maybe try to head over to Carbone and sit at the bar there??

Have eaten at the bar at Craftsteak quite a few times. You can always chat up the bartenders to keep it entertaining

Me too. I love sitting at the bar at Blue Ribbon Sushi. I'll also sit at a table (e.g. I always get a table at the henry). Obviously I'm currently a big cosmo fan but it applies elsewhere.

Have fun, hope you have a great time! I really like going solo.
