Do you smoke in Vegas Casinos?
I'm not a smoker, but I don't care if people smoke. The hardest shitty times for me are the non smokers who complain about people smoking at the tables. They create bad vibes. Hey it is Vegas.... Most smokers, I have found, are cognizant of other's space and are respectful..

Do you smoke at Vegas casinos and are you intimidated by nonsmokers who complain.?

 

When you sit at a table if nobody is smoking they will change it to not smoking generally.

I don't notice non smokers to complain much. Smokers complain about the non smoking designation sometimes. The dealers like it when you request non smoking.

 

I'm a smoker but I do have manners and I always ask if someone is nearby if they mind and act accordingly. I don't know but there's a certain feeling when it comes to smoking while gambling, I can understand those who usually don't smoke but do so in Vegas.

 

Don't smoke at home. Smoke two packs a day in Vegas. It adds to the experience imo. I try to be respectful and blow smoke away from dealers/other players and will stay away from stogies at the tables but that's about as far as I go. If you don't like smoke, Vegas may not be the best place for you.

 

Always smoke cigars in Vegas. I quit smoking cigs years ago, but occasionally smoke a few of those only in Vegas. I was quite annoyed last trip when I saw "no cigar smoking" signs at the table games designated for smoking last trip!! This was at PH.

 

That's the prevailing attitude, but I think it's a stretch to declare an entire major city off-limits to the civilized.

Here are some alternative statements that I think would be more reasonable:

"If you don't like smoke, go to the no-smoking section."

or

"If you don't like smoke, go to the smoke-free casino."

But those options don't exist on the Strip (or downtown). The unbounded freedom accorded to smokers ensures conflict with their natural enemies.

 

If you are worried about smoke some of the newer casinos seem to have much better ventilation and higher ceilings.

 

Never smoked..even weed...have some asthma issues

if i sit at a BJ table and are alone or maybe one other player, the first thing i do is ask for the "this is a non smoking table sign"

there's enough second hand smoke in the casino that i will shower before i hit the rack....smelling a smoke perfumed pillow sucks..

I do smoke a cigar but never at a table unless I get permission from everyone there. Now if I sit down and dealer says ok and I am alone I will still check


At a machine I usually won't start without asking people next to me and I never sit next to someone without asking first.

 

I smoke cigarettes but only outside at home of course. It's real fun when it's -35 F outside here in North Country NY! Lol I smoke in Vegas because it's the one place that I CAN smoke indoors. Lol I don't smoke when I eat and I always asks players beside me if the smoke will bother them before I light up. Most say,"Go right ahead."
