Funny, but my observation has been quite the opposite... seems to me that non-smokers are becoming more rude in places where smoking is permitted!
    ...and for about 350 days a year, I'm a non-smoker!

Was in Chicago this weekend, and we were a block from Rivers. Went there and played craps for several hours. I had noticed nobody was smoking then realized they had designated smoking balcony's. Was extremely busy and all the tables were packed.

    I guess its growing.

I think it will eventually get there, but it will take some time. A lot of support still to continue to allow smoking in Vegas casinos.

Agreed. But I do think that when it does get banned, it'll be for purely economic reasons, as opposed to the imposition of government regulations; I honestly think that there'll come a point when there will be so few smokers left that the casinos will be willing to risk alienating them if it makes all the non-smokers happier. Same with hotels going non-smoking.

As a smoker, Vegas is the one place I CAN smoke indoors. Gambling with a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other is just part of the experience for me. I hope it doesn't happen in my gambling lifetime.

No Casino wants a smoker to leave a table or machine to step outside to have a cig. I use vape now for 4 years but it seems to produce the same rhetoric as cigs from the non smoking community. So I guess that will go too.

The zealots will always oppose unapproved fun. For example, surveys suggest that about 20% of adults would vote to outlaw smoking. I would like to know, if anyone here has recent experience with both smoking and vaping, do you get different reactions?

Based on the evidence I've seen, vaping is relatively inoffensive, and doesn't bother me in a casino. Cigarettes and cigars bother the hell out of me.
