Not a smoker myself but haven't seen a completely smokeless casino yet.. not sure we ever will.

We had Revel in AC for a hot minute. Foxwoods has a nonsmoking area which is kinda nice. I remember walking into Foxwoods about 15 to 20 years ago and even the walkways were smoky between the casinos. I wasn't even old enough to step foot on the floor and I would come out reeking of smoke.

Today I don't find casinos as smoky as they used to be. Unless I'm standing/sitting right next to someone who is smoking, usually it doesn't bother me.

Harrah's New Orleans is now no smoking. I saw someone playing slots and smoking yesterday. Another player told him that the casino is non smoking. He was promptly told " fuck you". The guy started screaming and security showed up.
Ontario, Canada casinos are also non-smoking.

Bellagio sometimes has non-smoking blackjack tables, which, frankly, I like ... especially if someone is smoking a particularly noxious cigar. Drives me nuts and from a table.

I have definitely noticed less smoking at the tables in recent years

Yep...Over half the population will die from cancer but less than 30 percent smoke. Someone needs to explain the math?!?!

I'd certainly would visit smoke free casinos in Vegas. I loved the Revel in AC, but I believe part of the reason it failed was the complete smoking ban. I hate cigarette smoke. Both of my parents died from cancer and both were big smokers. I understand however it is addicting and deal with it in casinos. What I don't understand is when I see young people who still start in this day and age.

I've noticed that dealers in the HL room really appreciate the non smoking sign when you request it...must suck to get smoke blown in their face all day. I brought a gf once and her main belief is blowing smoke at the dealers right in their face makes me lucky...lol I was a bit embarrassed...

All Macau casinos are now non smoking on the gaming floor. You have smoking rooms off the side to the gaming areas. Given the massive number of Asian smokers (still), this is the sign of things to come. If Macau has implemented this move, then perhaps it's a matter of time for Vegas to bring in the law.
