I'm going to stay away from Vegas for now. I got some Free money $320 some $400 in Free play and $300 in single use play so figure I'd go collect them and see what I can do.

I collected the money then off to use the free play. I get 3 Blackjacks in a row to start and then hand 4 I get a 20 to the dealer 18. What a start.

I'm up 9K right off the bat.

I go by the Baccarat table and see some long streaks but jumped on at the wrong time. I end up giving $2k back and then getting $2400 back at blackjack.

I have noticed that Margaritaville in Bossier City does have some long streaks except when I bet on them. LOL

I just couldn't catch a streak and I see them on the board. only bad part is everyone on the tables are betting red or green chips. So no Big winners.

I did play some single deck. What a waste of time. $500 max no double after split and I keep hitting the $500 max. I dump $3k at this stupid game.

I go to the Horseshoe and have a snack and drink at the diamond lounge. Frog legs and Coconut shrimp and some chicken wings.

I then proceed to go on Tilt and lose all my winnings and another $8K so from up $9k to $6k to down $8k

$17k swing. to negative. I should have left. The dealer even said the table has been bad and killing everyone.

I go back to Sam's Town and Chip at it and win back $2400 and then Elderado to get $2200 back and then to Margaritville to get about $4k back so I leave a few hunderd vs $9k

This is why I like Shreveport and Bossier City. I can jump from casino to casino quickly and go home.

I should have just did the hit and run and came home right away.

Great ride PP. I like Shreveport but it is the same distance to Tunica and it is an easier drive to tunica so if we drive we usually go to tunica.

Tunica is a dirty hole. Last time I was there sand fleas in the carpet were biting my ankles the entire time. Hence why that's the last time I was there...

I usually stay at either the Horseshoe or the Gold Strike and I think they are pretty well taken care of. There are 3 casinos right next to each other, I usually only gamble at those 3. The craps rules are a little better than Louisiana (auto buying 4 and 10 only pay on win and they also auto buy the 5 and 9)
Sorry Shifter about the sand fleas, I have never noticed that. tunica is 8 casinos in the middle of cotton fields

So worse than Biloxi? Not worth the drive for me to go from Texas and if I'm going to fly I might as well fly to Vegas.

Tunica is out. unless I go to Memphis for some Hot chicken and BBQ. Then I might do some drop in play.

I agree it is out of your way and if flying I would go west to Vegas.

I've been to Memphis twice in past couple of years and have had no desire to go to Tunica. My parents stop in sometimes when they go Memphis when they go up a couple of times a year and said it's nothing special. But that said, Memphis is a great city in my opinion. I really enjoy it.
