I thought this past weekend was CNY. I still marvel at the huge CL players you guys talk about. I wonder if they're squeezing their nuts like they're doing to Nate?

 

I am currently on a 30 day ban from there bc I pointed out that someone doing a slot pull but wanting taxes paid out of winnings was not doing anyone any favors. Dipshit said I couldn't insinuate that. I told him he was dense. I wasn't insinuating it, I was saying it.

It's just a little power play for moderators who must not have any power in the real world. I told Sonya to lighten up. I doubt I will go back.

 

Wow with the number of often posters already here I'm curious to see what the traffic drop off is on the other site?

Do you notice a huge difference in the actual service provided between the mansion staff vs. the skylofts staff? I've stayed in the lofts and was really impressed by the service I received, wondering how much different it is aside from general aesthetics.

Sure, as soon as I get the site back up. The database got to over a million photos/videos, which would have been fine had I anticipated that and optimized it accordingly, but I didn't and page loads slowed to a crawl. But I'm about done bringing it back to life...probably within a week. If I work more on it more than 30 minutes/day it feels like work, so I stop .

Speaking of web development stuff, Shifter I love the forum software you're using. Much more slick than vBullletin (which VMB uses). Just having the "like this post" feature enabled will eliminate countless "great post" type posts that just clutter up the threads over there.

 

it's called XenForo. I was actually going to use VB, but pleepleus told me about this new software and it looked a lot better.

one of the other huge improvements over VB is the responsive design. it works great on mobile even without Tapatalk.

but as far as the "like" thing you can easily get a plugin on VB for that. I can only imagine why they never have over there.

 

A bunch of neophytes running the place? Or perhaps the old, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"

I'm a fan of the like button. Some additional emotes would be nice if you're taking requests.
