Hey Friends-

I am looking for a sexy bar in Vegas for my upcoming trip... sexy as in, not a strip club (I'll post about that separately)... but sexy as in it has a sexy vibe... the lighting, the decor, the music, just the overall feel...

Any recommendations on The Strip?

Chandelier is good, as is Vesper. I like Alibi at Aria -- especially if you can get a seat over in a corner and just watch ... Parasol Down or Up ... both fit the bill, I think.

 

I second Vesper.

 

I realize I didn't mention it and it might not add to the "sexy" part for some, but Vesper, at the seating near the escalators that take the masses up to the Marquee, provide the most hilarious/amazing/amusing upskirt views of people going up the escalators ... so if you've got a voyeuristic streak, it can be very entertaining. I love it.

 

Apparently I'll be trying Vesper next weekend...

Vesper has great cocktails, but I'd possibly go for Bond if you're looking for scenery. Chandelier is a bit too set back, whereas Bond is usually getting a fair amount of traffic in its own right, plus they have the dancers. Chandelier also sometimes seems a bit too bright for me.

I'd also second Alibi at Aria, especially now that Jewel is open. While you can theoretically get right to Jewel from the north valet, I'm pretty sure a ton of their patrons are going to be coming through the main entrance, and if my experiences at the northeast blackjack pit (by Jean Philippe) while Haze was there are anything to go by, it's quite the parade.

 

I like Mandarin Bar @ Mandarin Oriental. IMO the crowds are a bit more mature and a bit more sophisticated.

If you are looking for a young, party atmosphere ( meat market ) this is NOT your place.

 

Agree with this. Pretty solid drink list, awesome view, nice vibe.

How do you get in there? A friend and I stopped by on my last trip and we couldn't find it? We walked in by the valet, but only saw the front desk.
