I'm going to Seattle for Business and was looking for Suggestions to casinos in the area.

The last time I was there was over 13 years ago and the biggest ones there were Muckleshoot and Emerald Queen. Emerald Queen was still a boat back then.

I heard the one in Tulalip and Snoqualmine are pretty nice but both are pretty far from downtown Seattle.

Any locals in Seattle can give me a recommendation?

I'll be at Little Creek later this month during a Chambers/Salish golf junket. Know that's a ways around the sound.

I live on the north side, and we go to Tulalip regularly. There are now 2 emerald queen casinos, but I have only been there once in the last 8 years. I have only been to Muckleshoot once or twice as well. Snoqualmie is probably the quickest from downtown and was the nicest one, at least the last time we were there, which has been a couple of years now.

My rankings would be 1. Snoqualmie, 2. Tulalip 3. EQ 4. Muckleshoot. All have the $500 max due to state law.

If you go to Tulalip, let me know, I'll be there.

Thank you. Good to know. I forgot about the $500 max. I know at EQ you can play every spot at $500 a spot and at Muckleshoot you could play the spot and the side up to 5 place for $2500 in Baccarat. And in Craps you can play multi spots so you can bet more then $500.

    Is that still the case?

I am not sure. I know that I have seen people bet multiple spots on Baccarat, and that may vary per casino. At Snoqualmie IIRC, I saw someone betting six spots at the max. I dont know about Tulalip, I am sure it is multiple spots, but have never seen big action there so not sure how many they will let you play. I have seen people betting more on the dragon bonus than their hand though. I think that all baccarat in the area is with the dragon/panda bonus. If you play those bets, it is $100 max.

I know for BJ or Pai Gow poker you can play 3 spots, but for PGP, you can only set one hand, the others have to be house way.

For craps it is 10x odds, but they max the odds at $1k. Max payout on the center bets is $1500. I dont recall ever seeing anyone play multiple spots, but I dont play craps that often. Tulalip has the firebet, with the payouts on 3 points hit, and they pay 299-1 on a six point hit. I could bring the wife along so you would have two more bodies to place bets for you, only charge would be that we get to use our cards for the comps during that time :D

One more thing, the casinos are much smokier inside than Vegas. Pretty much the only place you can smoke indoors in WA is in the Indian casinos.
