I've been looking forward to this trip since I booked it in October. I have a 5 month old now, so as you can guess, it's been about 5 months since I could let loose! I have an awesome wife that understands the Vegas addiction, which makes it much easier.

From my previous WSOP TR, you can see that poker is a big part of the my degen. However, heading to LV with some non-poker friends, so going to be a heavy dose of BJ and random gambling exploits.

Hotel Details
- Staying at Aria. Big fan of the pool/spa/restaurants and like the Blackjack setup. I have another room at Paris, but may let my single friends use that as a crash pad.

Gambling Plans
- Poker: most of my friends get in Thursday evening, so going to head to Bellagio and play some 40/80 or 80/160 (if it's running) Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
- Sports betting: plan is to put $100 on every money line underdog for the first round games. This has been profitable for me in the past and is a super fun way to watch the games and root for upsets.
- Blackjack: once Thursday night rolls around, gonna bounce around and play some HL blackjack. Favorite spots are Aria and Caesars, but might check out Cosmo.
- Drinking: heavy. However, slightly worried since I haven't attempted that in a few months. Could be interesting.....
- VB: gonna try and make a meetup, but that will depend on my level of intoxication and gambling location.
- Chip porn: as long as I have some, I'll be sharing!!

Don't blow it all on the first night when it comes to the boozing! But you're a pro -- you know how to pace yourself.

Will follow with great pleasure. Three months to the day after our daughter was born, we hit Vegas for a two-night getaway. Maybe my favorite Vegas trip ever. Enjoy it!

Looking forward to some poker stories as I am a big poker person as well but like you said that normally goes out the window when I travel to Vegas with non-poker people.
