I am hoping there is no issue with my posting this recap here even if I posted it live somewhere else. Being the selfish one, I will say, it would have been nice if there was just one option beyond VMB but I think I understand the direction of each and plan to be part of both if that works.


This will be very heavy on the pictures as those are easy to take and writing isn’t as creative as others. I will also finish with a lot of play numbers for those that like that details.


I was in Vegas last week (well not last week anymore but I did start this then) from March 15-18th. This was a very busy trip as it was around a work trade show at the Sands Expo. I also got a little carried away with booking offers at multiple hotels. I booked at the following:


- MGM - 3 nights - M-F - My home base and I have good friend (TT) out for some vacation, so we have a Skyline Marquee Suite booked

- Wynn - 3 nights - M-F - Had a offer for some freeplay and figured I would take it. Didn't really care if I got future offers.

- Planet Hollywood - 2 nights - T-F - Some more freeplay and figured I would add some more TC to re-confirming Diamond for next year.

- Venetian - 3 nights - M-F - Booked for work as business expense. Actually booked 5 total rooms under my card, so should get some good points on Grazie.


Beyond work schedule that keeps me hopping on Wed, Thurs and Fri (AM), I only had dinners booked.

Flight into Vegas was on time and uneventful.

Drink service sucked at this bank, so decided to look around in the HL room. Found a 10 Play DSTP at Dollars and took a crack at it. Had a few good wins and a couple handpays. Drinks came much faster here .... and probably stayed longer than I should have. Was supposed to meet the MGM limo back at Venetian. They called as I was getting the second handpay, since I was still at Wynn I just had them pick me up at Wynn. I should have left at that point but played more (even to the point of having them wait on me at Wynn too). Ended up leaving about $1000 up so it was a good start and put about 2600 points on my card.
