I got my confirmation from my host for this weekends trip and it says RFB5. I remember some threads from the other board talking about MGM Mirage changing up their RFB and I can't remember the details. Is this 500 per day in food/beverage? Is there any restrictions on where RFB can be used? I assume as long as I can room charge it then we are good.

    yeah, that's $500 per day.

whether that's a hard cap or not depends on your host.

You can use it anywhere within the property. If you are going to a sister property, you may want to check with your host to make sure that will be covered as well, but it usually is without problems.

You can go to any mgm prop and aign back to your room at the mirage. The receipt will have it on it, just check mirage and write room number down and tour fine. All comped but tip and juat do that in cash. Have a good trip

A bit off topic but didn't want to start a new thread - does anyone know if MGM comps airfare? I know CET will and am trying to decide which place to give a stay where I will be a cheap date (i.e. not really looking for expensive food comps, etc.) Thanks.

Mgm can comp airfare against a loss, but rarely upfront unless you have a large LOC, an outstanding host relationship, or are a known high limit player

Nice Comp! I'd rather have all my food comped than free play any day! I would assume anywhere that allows you to charge back to your room could be used under that RFB and since I don't eat a lot, I wouldn't even use that much daily unless I was taking friends out to dinner.

I would eat like a king if I had that kind of deal. I agree also that I would take the food over the freeplay any day.

    That is funny.

The ones that are RFB would rather have the FP.

This past trip we had a few meals at the casino but enjoyed the restaurants outside more

So many times I remember either Uber car or limo to places off Spring Mountain or. In and out burger. The Wynn phantom to in and out is still a classic move and fun to do.
Limo ride. Or the tip is more and has a higher comp value than the food bill but it's fun to take the Phantom I can't do that at home so I'll take the Phantom whenever I can

The fancy restaurants in casinos. Is too rich sometimes and take too much time.

I hate to eat alone so so many times I get something quick so. I don't abuse FULL RFB

I don't usually spend a ton at restaurants, but if I got comped up front for food, I wouldn't feel bad about not playing as much. This last trip I didn't have time to play like I usually do. I was shocked my host took all my charges off as I had A LOT of food and drink charges. I certainly didn't come close to covering the amount he took off on the back end. I feel guilty about it, to be honest. I'm going to try and put in at least 5-6 hours a day next trip to make it up to him.
