I know my wife and I will never forget 9/11. I remember coming home and seeing the towers collapse and I didn't believe it. It's crazy that it's been 15 years already.

Lost a fellow Vegas degenerate and gambler. Dennis Gomes aka Trane on Vegas message boards was on the 107th floor of tower one.
there was a t shirt on the fence outside of NewYork NewYork casino that was signed by many of his friends. wonder where it is now?
I'll have to find the picture of it.

Was working on a Navy base. The head honcho came in and said shut your computers down, stop whatever you are doing and go to the conference room. CNN was on. Dead silence in the room. When the Pentagon, just 65 miles away, got hit, there was palpable fear. Some of the ladies started crying. When the first tower came down, I broke the silence my saying, "Thousands of people just died before our eyes."

After about two hours, we were told to go home and stay there until we got a phone call to return.

One thing I remember, the next day the sky was a deep blue, because there were no contrail clouds. I live right under a major air corridor and all planes everywhere were grounded, thus, no contrails.

You're an asshole. You took the whole thing out of contex and hijacked the thread just to take a cheap shot at me. You fucking jerkoff.

Thanks for the post. We all should never forget and a small pray can never hurt. My wife and I were under the Towers right after the 1st plane hit. We went to work seperate that day but ended up on the same PATH train arriving under the WTC together. Believe that was either the last or next to last train to arrive at WTC before trains were sent to midtown. Thank God for small favors we were very lucky. Many were not.

Trust me Glen. Everyday....Everyday You also look at many things very different

Here is a funny example. When we 1st got off the PATH we had no idea anything had happen. However, as we walked up to the main floor all the fire alarms were going off and half the ceiling tiles were on the floor. We get outside and we decided to head to battery park still not knowing it was a plane that hit the building. We walk down Church St and stop at the AMEX building to take cover as things are still falling from above and my wife could call her dad to say we are fine. Now I am leaning against the AMEX building and we hear what sounds like a plane landing. I was actually tossed off the wall due to the impact of the 2nd plane hitting the south tower. Here is the funny part. Weeks later playing tennis with my brother, a plane was flying over head and all I could do was watch and make sure it stayed up where it belonged and kept going. We both laugh at that now not so much back then.
