Posted this over on VMB about a week ago and just saw the TR mover and decided to share this TR here as well ... No longer semi-live so let's just call this a re-cap.

Attempting my first semi-live TR from LV. It's my GF's b-day so I planned a 7* trip for the weekend. We picked the ultra hip room @ PH.

After checking in we headed over to Gordon Ramsay BurGR for dinner

    Farro quinoa and chicken salad

After dinner I settled in for some craps. There were five tables open (1 reserved table) 2 at $50 and the other 3 at $25. Only played for about an hour and bought in for $1000; first shooter PSO and I was like FCUK! But next hit a four number fire bet, with a whole of 6s and 8s. Including hitting my hard 8 that was parlayed to $100 for a nice $900 payday. Forty five minutes later I colored up

Anyway, East Coast time is catching up so time for bed. More to come tomorrow.

Up at the crack of dawn (stupid EST playing tricks on my body again) ... Wandered down to the craps pit and bought in for another $1k, had one hot shooter who in the midst of making only 2 points threw a bunch of numbers especially the 4s and 10s... Nice profit of $510!

So sad that we have to head to the airport right now to catch our red-eye back to NYC. It was a real blast and thanks to all that were following along. This was my first TR and I hope I've lived up to the standards.

    Wrap up:

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this trip, even though I came down with a terrible cold and cough, which started on the flight into LV and culminated in getting feverish and cold-sweats at the airport flying back to LV. I felt so bad that on our last day, we had to skip the Paranormal show at Bally's and dinner reservations at Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris (heard some great things about this place). We'll have other opportunities to return so I'm not that disappointed.

I had reservations about staying at PH (pun intended) and whether I would like the ultra hip rooms - I looked into getting one of the Red Rooms @ Paris or a room in the Julius Tower @ Caesars or the Cromwell before settling on PH; let me tell you something, if you have an opportunity, don't hesitate to get one of these rooms. They're not huge but just right for a couple; the interior design is modern and bright and the view from the north tower is post-card worthy. I'm sure I would have liked any of the other rooms just as well. The point is that for those who are thinking about getting a room at PH, ignore the old reviews (before 2016) because the newer rooms were renovated the let out in 2016.

Additionally, the staff and dealers at the craps tables were awesome. One dealer, after seeing the level of my play came over and asked if I had a host at the property, then proceeded to ask the pit to contact someone, who came down and shook my hand; I forgot his name but he was very kind and eager to have my business.

My GF was very happy that she resisted the urge of giving back a bulk of her winnings and came away up for the trip (she's not a degnerate like me). I too did very well and was able to hold on to 2/3 of my winnings from Saturday so from a gambling perspective, the trip was great.

Thanks to all who were following along and I hope you guys enjoyed this TR as much as I had doing it.

Thanks PT; if I recall it was you who sent me a PM on VMB referring me to this forum in the first place while I was posting this TR over there. Haha

Thanks for posting. Love the pics!
The PH craps table minimums were higher than what I normally see there.
The Burgr gooey fries look good. I'll have to try those next time I'm there.
