Hello! I am new to this board:)

For my upcoming trip, I wanted to stay somewhere different. I mainly stay at Aria, Cosmo, or Signature, and this time I am thinking about the Palazzo, which I know is quite different than the other three that I mainly stay at. For those that have stayed there, have you had nice experiences staying there? What are the pools like? Is the Palazzo side a little quieter than the Venetian? Have you felt like you are a bit far away from other hotels on the strip while staying there? Thanks in advance!

I have stayed at the Palazzo. I liked it because I really enjoy Imperial Baccarat.

The restaurants are great- but I still prefer the restaurants at Bellagio or Aria. However, the Old Fashioned at Yardbird may be my favorite drink on the planet.

The rooms are nice and it is peaceful- I enjoy a peaceful escape when it is time for bed. I have only stayed in their standard room but I have been inside one of their bigger suites. It is nice but nothing compared to Aria suites.

I have never been to the the spa (Canyon Ranch) but I heard it is amazing.

I don't know anything about the pools because I am too much of a degen.

The casino is big and if you need more space/tables/machines you can head over to Venetian.

The Palazzo has been our exclusive home for the last 7 years now. Usually come in about once per month. Mostly due to the room size and amenities they offer us. Such as Upgrades to the Prestige Lounge. Which is a huge plus. Having the kids with us most of the time, this is very convenient for breakfast or a quick snack before venturing out, open bar and apps in the afternoon. They also have the Platinum Lounge in the Palazzo. The Gold Lounge on the Venetian side is now the HL Lounge with only cocktails, but no longer any food. The Canal Shops is nice get away from the casino if you need to take a walk and recoup.

The pools on the Palazzo side in my opinion are very nice, not rowdy. They are more family friendly. Which for me is a huge plus. The pools on the Venetian side seem to be more of the party atmosphere. And the pool between the 2 is the very quite. Try to get a Cabana on the Palazzo side if you seek peace and quiet.

As for being far away from other resorts. That is all you own perspective. You have the Venetian and The Wynn is right next door. TI, Mirage and Harrah's. But it is a hike or a short UBER or cab ride down to CP or Cosmo/Aria area. But same can be said if you are staying down on that end.

I gamble on the Palazzo side during the day and at night I play Craps only on the Venetian side, as I find the pit crews and bosses are very player friendly. Both V/P have good HL rooms as well. The Venetian is more loud due to the low ceilings and the Palazzo is more quiet.

I too have stayed at the Cosmo last month for the first time and like the rooms and amenities very much. But for me I don't play at MLife or CET locations so my options are limited on that side of the strip. Most of my play is at the V/P or Wynn. But I will be starting to play more at Cosmo.

    Hope this helps you out!

Never stayed there so I can't help, but listen to 6mermaids about Yardbird - it's great.
