Hi! This is my first post, and just like craps, I'm hooked on this forum. I like the vibe.

I'm a craps player, and I love playing the center bets; specifically hopping the hard ways and a three way crap.

I suck at pressing field bets. Does anyone have any preferences, tips or superstitions? I've heard playing 6 & 8 is always good, but my luck always rolls the outside numbers.

    Any feedback is appreciated!

instead of hopping the hardways, maybe try putting a minimum bet like $5 on all the hardways, and then if they hit, parlay the win into a possibly bigger payout. This way your hardway bet stays up for longer than one roll like the hop bet, and you are risking little for a nicer payout if the hardway hits with the parlay!

My hardways are off on the come out, so I hop the hardways. If a hard way hits on the come out, I move it to the hardway and start off with a parlay. If my hardway is already parlayed, I'll hop for a bigger bet on the come out. A 7 on the come out hurts me less than if my hardways are working. Just my take.

Placing the 6/8 is pretty common. I typically let it hit once and then starting on their 2nd hit I go "up a unit" which is $6 each time and put the rest in my chip rack. If I'm at a $10 I'll start with $12 6/8 and press up to a $30. Usually doesn't get a whole lot higher before a 7 out

Deciding when and how to press is always challenging because that seven can hit and wipe everything out so quick. Or you get gun shy and don't press and it turns into a hot roll. I think every craps player has been in both of those situations.

There was a guy at my local place who was parlaying his C&E bets and ran his stack up to $6k because they kept hitting. It was crazy to watch because of how rare it is to see them come up so often in a short period.

Im an aggressive player but what I like to do, namely on the place and hardways, is make sure I've taken in what I've got on the table before I start to press heavy. It doesn't always work out like that but it helps me from going busto quick.

Welcome to the forum! Always good to see craps players posting.
