After having to cancel my September trip due to a myriad of issues, I'm heading out October 26, arriving around 6pm, and leaving on a red eye home Oct 30, leaving at 11pm.

Hoping for a lucky trip as we've had a long few months. I just had an infected molar removed yesterday which was an experience I hope I never have again. Looking forward to the weekend where I can eat more than scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes....Adding on is my 8 year old who is having her tonsils removed.....the day before I leave....father of the year here. Fortunately my wife is taking Wednesday off and my parents and in laws are watching her Thursday and Friday, and when I get back I'll take a couple days and be with her too

So, after all this fun, it's time to hit something isnt it? I am going with my friends J and W and J's son L who just turned 21. We are planning on hitting top golf Thursday, golfing at Royal Links Friday, and going downtown Saturday. Gordon Ramsay steak is on the docket as is maybe going to see Cirque's Love at the Mirage.

Staying at my low roller haunt Bally's, home of great bartenders, a pretty decent shoe blackjack game, and absolutely nothing fancy. I'll be doing some gambling over at Cosmo too, although they didn't match my CET offer, which was a bummer. I would have loved to spend a trip at Cosmo, but not paying full freight.

If any of you folks are in town, I'd love to meet up for a beer or roll of the dice. Let me know.

Best of luck. I'm half considering giving Bally's a bit of play next time around, so if you find anything or anybody specific that you'd recommend, let me know.

Thanks Trigger. The blackjack game in their "high limit" area is actually pretty good. Sully's has great bartenders in Donny and Rick, and the same goes for the Sports bar with Po, Jimmy and friends.

I like Bally's. They have some of the best VP on the strip.

I almost ended up bagging this trip.

Waiting for my daughter to wake up after her tonsils and adenoids were removed yesterday, I felt tremendous pangs of guilt. She just had surgery, I am still dealing with a sore jaw from my tooth issue, my 2 year old son runs around like the Ultimate Warrior, and work went from slow to batshit insane. My business normally is much slower from November-January, but it got absolutely wild the end of last week and the beginning of this week. I know...#firstworldproblems

I went to withdraw some money yesterday and all they had was 20's...so perhaps Karma was telling me to stay home.

Fortunately my daughter is doing amazingly well as of last night and today. My MIL is watching her today, my FIL tomorrow and my parents on Friday while my wife works. My wife assured me I should go, and I will be on my way today.

Upgraded to First class today on America to Charlotte and then to Vegas. Should be in and ready to rock at about 730pm. W will be there already, J gets in around 1130 and L gets in tomorrow morning. Looking forward to blow off some steam!

Sounds like a Vegas trip is needed. Looks like you will have no problem getting in your share of trouble with a group of 4. Enjoy your trip and win a few bucks

Have a great time. That's the route I usually take with American as well. I'm flying out of Watertown next week with them and hoping to upgrade but I think the 1st class seats are sold out on all my flights as they were very full. For some reason this trip though I don't fly to Charlotte but instead Philadelphia then to Vegas. Where does you flight originate from? Have a great trip and bring your daughter a special souvenir home for being such a trooper after her surgery.
