So, I'll be back in Vegas Easter weekend. I'm a Pitbull fan and will be at his concert. My host has also arranged for a meet and greet.
I've done other meet and greets with other artists. It's always consisted of a quick hello and a pic.
Has anyone experience been any different?

 

that's all you get unfortunately. there'll be 50 other people with the same deal. walk up, shake hands, say your piece, they say thanks for coming, snap a pic and you're on your way.

I was sorely disappointed when I was at my first meet and greet and it was nothing but a greet and no meet.

 

True. They should stop calling it a meet and greet and just call it a meet and pic

 

It also depends on the artist. If the artists is a real up close and personal kind of person, they will interact with the fans more. Some artists, however, despise meet-and-greets and those are the people that leave a really bad taste in a fan's mouth. An example would be Slipknot, awesome with fans and great guys. Jane's Addiction were a bunch of nasty, prissy assholes and I will never listen to a song of theirs again because of it.
