In for 20k, got it back! Up 2k from cosmo...lost 14k at GN and Caesars...down 12k today. Around even for the trip...time to eat!

The beginning tore me up, got it back mid shoe on but was playing scared!

Can somebody kindly point out why this is a great shoe? Is it because the winning sequences are longer and it's not as choppy? Do the sharps stick with player or banker, or switch after a specificity number of hands? I'm a beginner and just learning the game.

 

Recap from yesterday: keep in mind i only gotten 5 hours total of sleep the past 3 nights with heavy drinking so missed some things on the TR yesterday die to being kind of sluggish
Woke up, went to hash hash for a so so breakfast....went to caesars for a couple of hours and won 2k. Went to eat Holsteins for lunch and was disappointed this time with the burger as i got the rising sun, to many complex flavors for me. I've realized that the best way for me to eat burgers now should be traditional style as to not take away the flavor of the beef there! Shake was awesome as usual! Went to golden nugget afterwards to collect 1400 promo play (pay till you lose chips) and ended up losing that plus 2600 cash for a total of 4k. I considered the 1400 as cash when they are play till you lose as i consider that part of my bankroll when reasoning why i come to vegas to get the promos! Reminds me, part of the 2k win at Caesars this morning had 400 promo also (play till you lose vouchers). So leave nugget and head back to Caesars for a couple of hours to try to give some action to them as i was triple booked this weekend and also wanted to get some more tier credit points as I'm almost at 7 star. Also didn't have much cash on me and my loc is at cosmo and caesars, staying at cosmo so figured caesars drop by and try luck again. 5k maker at bacc and lost 5 hands straight for 1k each, lasted 5 mins, ouch! Took another 5k and decided to go play BJ. Luck was still not my side so lost that 5k in around 1.5 hours. Head back to cosmo around 530, was planning on meeting up with @vegas monkey around 630-7p for some drinks before dinner. As im walking in, debated if i should get an hour or so rest before drinks or go gamble.....of course, walk by HL room and can't resist, want to win my money back amd semi tilting and tired! Took a 10k marker and lost that in around the first 30% of the shoe....on super degen mode now and take another 10k. Lose about 2-3k of that so down around another 12-13k! Fuk!!! The shoe starts to come together and afterwards looking, should have killed it even more but I'm the type that believes the back 1/3 of the shoe normally changes and whoops my ass! So i win back my 20k plus 3k or so i think. Whew so went on tilt, close to being stuck 34k today but ended up losing around 10k so ill take it as a win! Was maybe close to even or + a few k now for the entire trip so far. That's saying i spend maybe a few k cash on various other activities...but that's how i look at it, still up, having a good time, fuk it, nothing to be down about. So vm comes meet me in HL room and we go back to the room for drinks. Lack of sleep is catching up so i pop me a 5hr energy shotb and head to GR. Very anxious to eat the highly talked about ribcap. So it dinner reservations are for 830p for 13 and we get seated right away. Take our drink orders etc and everyone is starving and tiredness kicking in for most. Drinks come out, appetizers come out maybe 45mins after sitting, not to bad, I've never eaten the A5 kobe and wanted to try so got a few ounces for everyone to try. I love steak but not really a steak connoisseur yet, however the A5 kobe reminded me of Louis 13 cognac, one word, "overrated " an everyone at the table agreed, good thing for me as i won't be getting that again! So the A5 came around 1:15 hours after being seated...main course should be coming up next...we wait and wait and wait, 2 hours after being seated, everyone is getting "hangry" (hungry/angry" and lack of sleep is catching some dozing off at the table. By this time, im just in a poor mood due to the fact that i had a semi rough day of gambling, thought GR was going to be a great dining experience for the crew, but turned out it was horrible with the food coming out and time between our courses. Finally around 2:30 later from sitdown, food comes...wtf...most are past the point of wanting to eat but everyone eats like vultures! Probably took only 15 mins for everyone to finish their meal. Maybe it was my mood or hangryness or tireness, but the rib cap was just OK to me, maybe i had too high expectations coming in, maybe it was a bad night, i have no clue....anyhow, 3:20 later, we are finally out of there! Maybe the longest time I've ever been in a restaurant! I like to think im a guy that never complains much and very easy to please, but this was unacceptable! Don't think i can ever go back there again! Original plans were to go clubbing at Hak afterwards but i was just not in the mood, would rather go have done drinks and wine down and get some zzzz, so the group splits (young bucks under 34 go party and we old guys head to talon to drink and relax...after 2 rounds of cognac, i decide i want to gamble to get a nice wind of energy....goal is to win 20% of bankroll. Take 10k marker in Talon, hit goal in less then 15 mins! cash out and maybe end the night on a positive note....walking towards the room, spot the HL room, fuk it, lets do it again! Sit down, take 10k marker, same goal....got it! No more than 10 mins or so...so up a quick 4k, good way to end the night! Chill for a bit and sip another cognac in the HL room middle lounge before calling it a night! Time for The Henry SREB! Last day in Vegas, lets see what's in store!

Hate to be a Debbie Downer here, but unless you were eating at Jean Georges, SW, or Bazaar Meats at SLS, you didn't eat A5 Kobe. There are only 9 restaurants in the US certified to sell real Kobe beef, and those are the only three in Vegas. Better luck at the tables today!
