Except on computer. I walk by these tables all the time and they often only have one or two players.

I know the basics about building two poker hands and the wild card.

Give me some reasons why I should play this game.

It's a slow game if the table is full and I feel like your money goes a long way. A lot of pushes in this game, which means you're not losing super fast. Pretty simple game to play. I love it. the bonus bet is a sucker bet I believe and I never play it unless I just want to take a chance. So IMO...fun game, slow game, a lot of pushes, hard to lose your entire roll at the table.

Like @VegasMan15 said, money can go a long way time-wise on a full table which I love if I'm looking to do something 'mindless' and watch a game on the tv behind the dealer. My buddy and I like to play it when we're looking to do something a little less thinking-intensive than other table games and throw down drinks

I play because you can play 2 hands-2 bonuses-2 envy bonuses sometimes 2 insurances and if its a progressive 2 one dollar progressives.Baccarat is my no. 1. game but it won't ever pay me 30-250,000 dollars for a $1. progressive hit.

I play this game when I am on a losing streak and need a break. Still have action, but can't lose a lot.

Like all the previous folks mentioned, it's a slow game and you are allowed to play 2 hands at the same time. I know many that don't like to play the game on the fact that it is very slow. To a point where it may be boring sometimes. One advantage to the game is that a player can "bank" every other hand. Which means you can bank and take the dealer's hand. This gives you the house advantage of winning on ties. This is the only game I strictly play for the last 15 years or so, with the exception occasionally playing VP.

"Banking" is a key reason to play Pai Gow and probably the only game I don't mind playing one on one with the dealer....we "trade places" every other hand!
