Sitting at one of my favorite VP banks in Ballys over by the keno lounge and the bar in that area; there were two very gay men were laughing it up at the bar. A hooker sits down beside the one and let me first say she looked like she got second place in a shovel fight...well she did her pitch and they both laugh. One says something like you're barking up the wrong tree honey. Well the hooker took exception to that and calls them fags. One of the men calls her a whore and she proceeds to beat the shit out of him.

He literally just turtled, while his boyfriend screamed for help. Bartender just looked on and security didn't come until a couple minutes after it was over.

You guys should play against the old farts in the 2 - 4 limit games. They literally never fold pre-flop.

I don't mind playing a 2/4 limit game. You can get hammered for $100 and if you get your share of luck, even against the old guys who never fold, you got a shot of making a couple bucks. I think the only place on the strip dealing 2/4 limit is Flamingo? That was the first place I ever played real poker. It was before the Hold Em craze and they were rolling 2/4 7 Card Stud. Now that was a fun time!!!

I was at the Palms one night playing BJ with my favorite dealer. Had the table to myself. There was a concert that night at the Pearl. Kylie Minogue. Google if you don't remember her.

Anyway, pre-concert crowd starts to roll in. Apparently Kylie has a big gay following. Who knew? Four obviously gay guys sit at my table and buy in. Nice enough guys. No issues with them. But...high comedy when playing BJ and a gay guy gets an 11 and then when it's time to hit they say 'give me a big one'...

Dealer and I just looked at each other and tried to contain our smiles and laughs.

If I told this story before I apologize.

Last year my husband and I stayed at the D for the second time. This time we had the room adjoining the exact room we had the first time. We knew from last time we'd be hearing our neighbors all weekend.

We were in our room and we heard what sounded like a man beating his wife next door. I grabbed the phone in case we needed to call security and we listened. It was a mutual fight and he was just slamming his hand down on the table so we didn't call. They were mostly just yelling. She was screaming and he was getting quieter. Suddenly security arrived, told him to leave, and told her they would put him in another room for the night since they were together staying in the same room. She thanked them, screamed a few more obscenities at him as he quietly left with them, and slammed the door.

Much later that night we came home and realized he was back in the room! They were arguing again. Apparently after he was kicked out she took all their cash and gambled it away. Then she called him over and over until he came back. She denied losing the money. He says, "so then we were robbed? Then we need to call the police." "No! I don't remember!" She kept saying over and over. One of their friends they were with had seen her at the tables. It was pretty obvious what had happened.

I have pissed off those old rocks on occasion at the Flamingo 2-4 game. Made $5 or $600 at 1-2 NL and was too drunk to see, so thought it best to play 2-4. Pretty sure I raised 90% of the time and when my hand was really shitty I would tell the dealer I would split the pot with him if the hand won. I think I made another $200 at the game and pretty much broke it. I left and went to play VP and hit Aces with a kicker for $500 and went to bed. That was a good night in Vegas.

A woman lost money in the slot machine and pulled out a new $100 bill. Her reasoning was "I really don't want to stick a $100 into this machine, so I will leave my player's card in the machine as proof that I am still playing it while I go break it into 20's at the TITO machine!" You guys know what's going to happen, right? I will tell it anyway. Lo and behold after she broke the bill into 20s, she came back to the slot and another woman had taken out the player's card and started playing on it.

The first woman told her off for removing the player's card and playing on it. The second woman defended herself by pointing out that there was no money in the machine. The first woman said,"There was no money in the machine because I lost it and went to go get more change you idiot! I was only gone for about 30 seconds! I left the player's card in there on purpose to show it was still taken! Ever thought of that, you stupid idiot" The other woman argued back and at one point, the first woman said,"F you and the hole you were pushed out of because she didn't teach you common sense!" I was worried that they just might end up physically fighting. Luckily the other woman decided that the slot machine was not worth the stress and gave the first woman her machine back.
