"I just lost my electricity bill money. I shouldn't have come here." Well, not really an "overhear" as she was telling me directly.

People who lose a hand against a weaker starting hand tend to go crazy after they lose in poker.

For example. A player raises with KK pre flop and gets called by Q-10 and the board is Q-10-4-7-2. Q-10 wins with 2 pair.

"I can't believe he called me with Q-10".

    Hope that makes sense.

Yes exactly. He called me with pockets 2's against my aces? I can't believe it!

That's why I quit poker in Vegas. The fine art of bluffing is now considered a mortal sin.

I wouldn't consider calling with weak hands "bluffing".

Why not? if you've been playing tight, anyone paying attention will think you have a good hand. Also, bluffing is just good fun. It was always an integral part of poker before the so called superstars took over everyone's mindset.

Yeah, bluffing is a key element in the game. Just saying that when people go crazy and moan how "you called me with that?!" it's not about bluffing. It's about getting lucky with a weaker hand. Bluffing is done by betting or raising with weak or no hand.

This isn't really worth a discussion though.
