Is there such a thing as meeting a person who is out of your league? You meet a new person/friend, you get to talking and due to their education, economic factor or whatever it may be you just realize they are out of your league? Or, you are single, meet someone and say to yourself i really like that person but they are out of your league and you have no chance? Or, you and your husband or wife have just met this couple who are royalty from Sweden Prince and princess. Are they out of your league? Will you ever see them again?
Imo, For me this is all a mindset. It is about how you feel about yourself. How mentally secure you are and so on. I really don't care what they have, how big there house is or if their s&@/ dont stink. Yes meeting a president or the pope can be daunting do to their accomplishments and more and nerve wracking to day the least but we all go to the bathroom the same way. We all catch a cold. We all are just human right?

So have you ever met a person and said he/she/they are wayyy out of your league?

OR this.... Do people who are the presidents, ceo's of huge conglomerates, movie stars or sports icons feel they are above or better than others? Would they say you are not at their economical level and not befriend you?

I've partied with baseball HOFers, NHL superstars and NBA players (during my younger years). ALL down to earth.

I've talked to some of the richest people in Canada...down to earth.

I could go on with people that I have encountered (partied) over the years and not once was it perceived that they were better. Regardless of jobs, money, stature....

I understand about the people that you are talking about.....wannabes....they are usually sociopaths/narcissists that you shouldn't be around anyways!!!!

No one is out of my league, but it doesn't mean I have to like everyone. I have friends that are much wealthier than I am, and also friends that are much lower class. Everyone has different life experiences. Everyone faces different challenges. Everyone gets different breaks. I don't really give a shit one way or the other. Either we get along or we don't. I'm not above or below anything. Years ago, I may have felt differently but as your birthday gets farther and farther into the rear view mirror you start to realize what really matters.

I've had these issues on the other side of the coin.

I've met people I wanted to hang out with but they were intimidated by me and eventually I never saw them again.

There are some people who feel like they're better than everyone else but most people are just people.

I think it really depends on the person. The CEO's I've met are usually very down to earth. The issue usually isn't with them but with others perceptions of their expectations or bia's (ie. This person is worth x million dollars a year. That makes me uncomfortable.)

As long as you can find common ground on something, then everything is cool.
