Here is my notes I use to look at my past plays, specifically the wins so I can identify and even quantify how and why I won. It is not rocket science of course, but it helps me answer lots of questions.

The feeling, what was it, just prior to the win period(s)?
The reversal, what happened when the win(s) stopped?
    Wager Level?
    Plateau?
    Length lasted ?
When you do prevail, what happened at the onset to the win?
Straight Win, lose, or Roller Coaster?

Note: The single most important thing in my analyzing, is my 'plateau' level(s). As well I now am able to recognize my plateaus where I was at prior to the win or loss. As well, at least to me, 'plateaus' are important as it gives me guidance to what I have done, can be done and more or less translates to a norm. If I am outside of those 'plateaus' caution will come into play. Don't kid yourself, we all have 'plateaus' and most gamblers learn they can not surpass theirs, each and every time playing. Those that do will inevitably give the casino their bankroll trying to break their previous win levels or streaks, AKA: 'Plateaus'.

Maybe this will help some of you? At least, fuel for thought.

Do you leave when you plateau? Just thinking about this my last few craps sessions seems to be a swing one way, then maybe a swing the other, then it sort of plateaus and I'm just small shifts in the bank roll.

A little more complicated than a quick decision. My own plateau is arrived after the 'wins and losses'. Think of those as in geographically being the 'valley' before your previous and known 'plateau'.

I quantify my wins and losses along with the play and events throughout the shoe(s).

The most important info to me (I said, to me) is how I got to where I am currently at in my bankroll. Easier or harder, quicker or longer time frame, all that plus other things will come to mind. It is hard to beat your best, really and seriously! I have before but gave it back. I am talking about walking away with it and calling it a trip and then the subsequent trip will be a fresh one with nothing to do with the previous trip. Not an extension of it, later that day or the next morning, etc.
