It's interesting. I feel like there are only two main types of roulette players. There's the hit and run players who are just playing 5-10 spins trying to bang a number for a nice hit, and the newbie gambler who will sit there for hours (because roulette is the most self explanatory game in the casino that takes zero strategy). For the hit and runners, the button probably doesn't do anything for them, but for the newbie, they will probably think it's the coolest thing ever.

they had this gimmick at the Trop a couple of years ago. Some big bonus if both of your balls landed in the same number.

Just like multi-hand VP. It definitely could be crack to some roulette players.
I wouldn't mind seeing it in action.

I think a lot of people would enjoy the interaction, especially if someone hits on a number that you "made". It could add a little atmosphere, but overall most players probably like to stick to classic versions of games.

I would disagree, I am definitely not a newbie and I love roulette. I know it has one of the highest house advantages but love the large risk high reward that it offers. I come to Vegas to have fun not make money for my mortgage payments. So even if it's not the smartest game to play. For me it's the most fun. Just a thought. I could see how this could bring the players together more as a "team". Kinda like craps does. It also could keep people playing a little longer because they would get there chance to roll in a couple spins.
