So Nintendo has announced a mini NES that will have 30 NES games loaded onto it. Seems like a nice little bit of throwback nostalgia for those of us that grew up or came of age in 80's. But I took it a step further a few months ago and built RetroPie on a Raspberry Pie piece of hardware.

Looks cool with a solid price. I'll get it for my kids to show them what I grew up with. I think I was 8 when my Dad brought one home. Im betting todays kids will like it.

The legend of Zelda was an absolutely amazing game for its day. The storyline, requirements to progress to the next level and general complexities made it the cream of that era.

Tecmo Bowl was a lot of fun too. The stats we used to pile up were week 1 CFBesque.

    1. My ex hubs sat on the couch for hours at a time playing Zelda. That's when I realized my little 4 year old needed speech when he would yell out kill the Weeder instead of kill the Leader.
