Good luck Nate. I am looking forward to seeing this one. What is your betting limit there on baccarat? I would guess with a 5m limit it has to be pretty high. Also what do you mean by "you only get credit for winning bets"? My understanding of rolling chips is that you just pay a discounted amount to buy non-cashable chips at the cage. So if you buy $1M worth of chips, you might pay $990,000 for them, and then you have to play them through to get anything cashable. Am I way off base?

 

No that's not how rolling works.

Basically you start out with rolling chips (can't exchange for cash) and play them through. When you win a bet, they pay you with cash chips.

So once you have enough cash chips (or run out of rolling chips), you say "rolling" to the dealer, who converts your cash chips back to rolling chips; the pit boss types in the amount in the computer and a cashier comes over and gives you a receipt with your running total.

So somebody with a 1m line can sometimes roll up to 10m, especially if you are winning.

This system rewards the winners and punishes the losers.

I don't have special limits since the max bet here is 750k per bet anyways. 5000 on roulette...no monkeying around here...

Minimums around 500 here so some kind of martingale could theoretically be possible...but who's actually going to push out 700k to win back 500?

 

One more thing, if you have rolling chips left over, you don't have to play them, you can deposit them back and they will just subtract your rolling amount....so the good thing of Singapore and Macau is that they don't have minimum play times or theo targets. People are there to gamble anyways...

Considering that most strip properties limit you at 500 or 1000 max anyways without special limits , the 5000 max on roulette is something to see.

That means if you really feel it you can bet a 200k complete bet that would pay 432k times 5 or 2.16m on one hit!

 

Probably me lol. Jk. Generally I won't go more than 250x my initial bet. Otherwise it's too hard to make it back up on the same trip if you lose. So I don't mind spreading $100-$25k. So at a $500 minimum I'd go up to $125k, though if I'm already up a lot and the last bet would wipe out most or all of my winnings, I'll generally cut the progression short and start over, remaining in the black. At $500 with Martingale you'd be winning ~$20k/hr as long as you don't hit a 9 hand losing streak, and if you did you could make it up in about 10-12 hours of play.

One of these days I have to check out MBS...that rooftop pool looks pretty awesome. If they only had a setup like Palazzo so I could play two or more tables at a time, it would be perfect .

Compared to Vegas, which is a smart business move for the house? Vegas probably (less risk) but singapore will make way more money because they are letting people really gamble and as we know people lose. Except nate of course! Really interesting stuff Nate. The action they attract with these limits is absolutely insane, so I think the smartest move is what Singapore does.

As in any Asian casino, you don't even have to sit down to bet. So you can play four tables of you want. MBS is also one of the safest casinos, since they have to go through passport controls in and out. For the private gaming floor, if I want to take somebody up there I have to sign a disclaimer vouching for all their actions, criminal or otherwise. Makes for a very strictly run casino; no passing chips between players etc...that's why I will have to sneak photos...

 

Yeah buddy, crazy shit about the Wynn. I think that's another reason I will visit there less, I have to go get Pphold to help pick up my golf clubs.
