But it is tough to forget the discount...so say I lose 80k then I would want to keep playing until I lose 100k or make it back. And if I lose 150k then I would want to keep playing until either I lose 300k or make it back...doesn't make sense I know ...

saying that Vegas baccarat volume is down 15.1% so far this fiscal year. They've apparently been running lucky, so this has only cost them a drop in revenue of 9.1%, but over the long term the drop in revenue will equal the drop in volume. I have a feeling that the way they have treated Nate and others like him - blackballing or eliminating incentives for big (winning) players at MGM (yay PGP!), Wynn being indifferent to almost everyone, casinos not living up to discount promises, etc. - is a significant contributor to this.

Maybe Vegas will start treating you right again now Nate. Here's hoping .

 

It is mostly the drop off in big China players. The austerity crackdown over there has been a damper on casino trips and big gambling; even for those that have the money.

Macau and Singapore are down even more...a lot more...

It is a chicken and egg issue as well, the big casinos have responded by cutting back on marketing costs and incentives across the board...

A bit of a trek for me...weekends won't do it for that kind of travel time...
