Ok so quick story...

Two of my closest friends (they are brothers) and their whole family (a group of people that are so much fun to be around) go to Vegas every summer. The first two years I couldn't go with them because I had either just been or had other commitments during their planned trips. The last two years I've gone with them, and minus a little girlfriend drama the first trip (she wasn't invited back to Vegas EVER after that, we've since broke up) I've had a really good time with them.

This year, they were unsure if they were going because of the low Canadian dollar. I'm going to Utah in May and with the uncertainty of their trip (they told me they were likely to go to Caribbean instead), I decided to book a flight from Utah to Vegas and book 4 nights, 5 days there for my "big" summer trip. It sucked that I had to give up on a trip I really look forward to every year, but I also couldn't risk not having a "big" trip to Vegas in the summer. I've got some cousins going with me and a girl I've known since High School (not a romantic thing) is also going to meet down there and stay with me at CP.

WELL. Today my buddy texts me and says him and his family are in fact going to go to Vegas, which immediately disappointed me because of how much fun we've had the last two years. However, he said due to his dad having back surgery in June, they're doing their trip in May.

I'm going May 15 - 19. They're going May 14 - 18.

The chances of this ever happening were like 1%. It's all working out. Hopefully this means Trip 12 will not only be the best yet, but my first winning trip.

Stupid story, I know, but damnit I'm excited. 7 weeks today I'll be back in Paradise!
