Hey Guys,

With a little under a week to go the excitement is real ready for my next trip to Lost Wages. I've not been to the promised land since June so it's a long 6 month absence, my wife hasn't accompanied me since the trip before so for her is been even longer!

As many of you know , Brexit has caused the Pound to fall harder than the self esteem of any of Donald Trumps lovers. As a result we're taking our biggest ever BR, we're bucking the trend and going for a blow out on the basis that it may be the last trip for a while.

We're flying from LHR to LAS direct in BA Biz, so hopefully some good food and episodes of the American Office will help pass the time relatively quickly!

The plan is to spend 3 nights at the MGM Grand (First time) in a Stay Well room which gives us private check in. A meager $50 FP / $50 FB but well received none the less. Then moving on to 4 nights at Cosmo with a Terrace Studio Fountain with $285 FP.

We've got a lot planned, really wanting to maximize the trip, the highlights include the following. Craftsteak, Beauty & Essex, Top Golf, Cirque MJ One, Cirque Bellagio O, Spa treatments, Mon Ami / Henry breakfasts and obviously gambling!

If schedules allow (e.g. Newmans gets off her box!) We will be indulging in a few chick drinks and social with newmans and if anyone else is around, like her son Ryce it will be great to meet a few more people!

I've recently become hooked on all things NFL and whist I have a lot to learn I'm looking forward to the divisional playoffs games being on at the end of the week to put some bets on and enjoy the games. It's a shame my newly adopted Cardinals aren't playing in them but maybe next year!

Looking forward to taking you with us on the trip, hopefully recreate some of my Handpays from last time , my focus this trip will be on Slots / Craps / 3 Card and maybe try UTH and some BJ which I almost never play as I dont know the strategy.

Mrs. Tesla and I will overlap your trip Jan 9-13. Maybe we'll run into each other.

LHR->LAS direct? Wow that's a haul. Wise move to spring for business class.

Shit! You are correct ! Still time to jump on a plane and join in the fun unda! ;-)

 

Luckily I had air miles to use his trip so it cost a mere £500 each for the flights. Looking forward to flying direct for the first time in a while, the flights are normally crazy expensive.

We always try to balance things out so if gambling goes south we don't hit a slump and feel the long slog from the UK wasn't worth it!
