We didn't get to experience full Ludicrous mode on the Tesla but he did launch it at a red light. Very cool, loved the g's but strangely quiet!

Another amusing story I forgot to add. Just before I played Cleo II I was playing FBBJ with a Kuwaiti dude who was in town for a fashion shoot for his leather boot manufacturing company (can't make this shit up, I swear). He was showing me pictures of the model from the shoot, etc, I was asking him if he was in town for SHOT show and he knew nothing about it, was just in town for his photo shoot and was leaving before the show.

Anyway, it was amusing and all, and after a bit I said my goodnights, left the table and hit the handy on Cleo. Walked by the FBBJ table after the payout and Kuwaiti dude was still there and I was on a bemused drunk high and proudly showed off my W2G. He insisted I celebrate with a glass of 18 year old scotch (can't remember if it was Glenlivet or Macallan), like he was drinking. So, what the hey, we each ordered one from the CW on her next round. CW said she had to check my Identity card before I could get the drink. I was a bit flummoxed but gave it to her and she came back with the drink, OK no biggie. Kuwaiti dude then tells me "you know what the best thing is to go with this scotch? Smoked sunflower seeds." Again, can't make this shit up. So I'm thinking, and say to him "What in the fuck are you talking about, smoked sunflower seeds" thinking it's code for this guy wanting to smoke some hashish or something. He's out to prove me wrong, and disappears for 10 minutes, only to come back with ... a bag of smoked sunflower seeds. And he gave me the bag as a roadie.

I can't say if the scotch paired as well with the seeds as he thought it did, but when I tried to order a second glass the CW said I'd have to pay for it. The f? I wasn't about to pay, and I wasn't about to make a stink (was already well schockered) so I just got a bottle of Pellegrino.

When I told the seed story to my SILs husband the next day (bag of seeds to prove validity) we saw the dude in the casino later that night, and he was thus named my "Kuwaiti nut-muncher friend" lol

What a great report! With all of the awesome photos and vivid descriptions, it almost felt like I was there.

I know how much it burns to lose on a double, especially when you're pressing hard. Blackjack can be a cruel mistress when she gets your hopes up with a 4-7 against a dealer 6, only to give you an A on your double, and the dealer a 5 in the hole and the face that you wanted... Seems like you had a good trip with great company, even if the gambling didn't always go your way!
