I have read very mixed reviews across the board all over the interwebs about Mlife Comps Vs CET comps. Here is my scenario.First I will be up front In a past life about 6 years ago and before I was a middle level player. I had a good relationship with CET and MGM but over the last years as my family grew my gambling slowed. In the past 3 years I have gone to Vegas once a year and last year I gambled less than ever I had a total Coin in of $2794.89 on slots (with the wife) with an outcome of (548.20) Not a big deal for a 3 day trip and spending time with the Wife who is not much of a table games player. I also had a Win of $320.00 on BJ and craps combined. (numbers per the Mlife website). So her lies the question. I consistently get offers for 2 to 3 nights at Aria or MGM and other lower end properties. Most offers come with Resort credit which is a nice perk. I am returning in two weeks on a 3 day Comp with $100.00 in Resort credit at Aria staying Sat,Sun and Monday. Is this common for this level of play or is this a residual affect from my past just keeping me happy now? Also I was considering moving my play back to CET considering I can keep my account alive here in Illinois where I live but will I be giving up something for nothing. I have not had any play or offers from CET in over 5 years.

No, it's not just you. Six years ago, Aria (MGM Group) were a lot more generous with comps for your level of play.

They've offered you a mid-week stay during a low income season, because it doesn't cost them much and it's simply marketing (fishing your prior play).

As for CET, others here will guide you for their comp program, as I'm not familiar. It might be a better play for you if you can accumulate comps locally.

For me, I chose the hotel(s) I wanted to stay, and played there.

This is pretty much exactly my strategy. My play is usually $50-100/hand on table games for 3-4 hours a day and about $10k coin-in on VP per trip, which for Aria gets me a couple comp nights and some resort credit; I could probably get a lot more if I stayed elsewhere, but I like Aria too much to stay anywhere else.

I think you are doing well with that comp based on your play

I think that's a good level of comp based on your play -- and I think you're not alone in that being the typical kind of offer. You lose a few grand, and they'll give you a room at Aria for that without much else. Don't think it's residual based on your past play.

Its a fishing offer. Its slow season so they can either keep the rooms empty or generate some play. Offer seems in line given the season.

Me too. Used to love staying at the Bellagio, but the crowds get tiresome. We still gamble and eat there though lol.

I continually get any 5 days at any CET Property comped, including weekends, and I am comped in the Augustus Tower in October over Halloween. For my kind of play with MGM, I get $129 offers from Bellagio or $79 a night at Excalibur. I'm assuming with the new "we are going to screw you plan" (PGP) at MGM, my offers will dry up altogether. I know some say go to Wynn or V/P but you only have two casinos to accumulate comps in and if I'm unlucky at Wynn, Where do I go? Encore? That's the only option. I like the flexibility of CET as If I'm having bad luck at CP, I can walk to Paris and my play still counts with CET.

The problem with getting offers from CET casinos is that you'd have to stay at CET casinos to accept the offer.

I use the CET casino offers for friends to stay free when they're out there with me.

I use the good stuff on myself.

Way overcomped. You didn't even coin in a grand a day. Take it now, gamble like that you'll never see another free Aria offer.
