Yesterday I called the Mandalay box office to ask about Michael Jackson One tickets. I was quoted a price of $155 including tax, fees, service charges.

These are front row seats a little off center. I need front row for the leg room. Good seat...

I told the box office woman that I'd think about it...

Today I called back to purchase the ticket and asked if there was a discount for MLife members. She said that the ticket would now cost $127 with the MLife member discount.....Good deal..

It appears they give discounts to MLife members when upcoming shows are below 70% or so capacity....

Just an FYI, front row seats are not good for a cirque show. Usually these seats are always available because no one wants to sit in them.

The best seats are usually the first row center of the next tier of seating.

I've seen the show twice now. The first time I loved it... they made some changes and the second time (in May) it wasn't as good, unfortunately.

I hope you like the show though.

The next tier seating front rows have a rail in front of them and a 6 inch slab at the base so it would not accommodate my long legs. I spent 40 minutes discussing this with the supervisor who had someone eyeball the seats.....
I had no choice and I hope I can still see everything... If not, I'll have them give me a stool or individual seat in a better position. I can be very persuasive..

Ah... got ya. I would show up to the theater as soon as it opens. They release the casino seats about 30 minutes prior to the show if my memory serves.

The first cirque I ever saw was Mystere. We had the very first row. About 5 minutes in I was ready to leave. My girlfriend spotted some empty seats and we moved into those after about 15 minutes. We ended up really liking the show and I'm glad we didn't leave.

Front row for One will be fine. We sat front tow to accomadate FIL (he is 6'9) there is action on the sides but its not completely out of view and the parts that include floor action (dancing stomping through the aisles) there is also action on stage. Its the only CDS I have enjoyed.

I had those exact tickets at the show in July (first row, Tier II) and you are correct. Best seats in the house for any Cirque show.

Agreed. And there are shows where it's even worse; at Love, for example, they do that thing with the big sheet (for lack of a technical term) that covers up the first few rows, and for O, you can basically just see people diving in and out (I've been lucky enough to see it a couple times as a guest of the production, up in the control room, and it was amazing).
