We stayed at the MGM NH last Thursday. The parking garage was pretty full but had no issues getting a spot and check-in was a breeze. We were upgraded to a Corner Suite without asking and I have to say, the rooms are really nice. The casino was busy but not even close to full. We spent a good bit of time playing video poker at one of the bars. Each round of drinks cost us about $18 thanks to Maryland law. I'd describe the casino as a nicer version of the Horseshoe in Baltimore. Table minimums were above my pay grade and it would have been difficult to even get a seat, if I were so inclined. Pics of the room to follow.

The vanity mirrors were really nice and the shower was larger than the elevators and had two shower heads. Not as nice as a Vegas property but very close.

Technically, we had both a Capitol view and a Harbor view since we were in a Corner Suite but the view of the Capitol, Washington Monument, and downtown was better than that of the harbor. We could see a sliver of the big wheel, if we really tried.

There was a long line to get into the theater to see Boyz II Men when we got in so we grabbed an elevator to go to the 2nd floor to check-in. Nobody was checking room keys. We ate dinner at the Tap Sports Bar, which was pretty good and will be very nice in the warmer months. Lots of outside seating, cornhole game areas, and beer pong tables. Breakfast on Friday was at Marcus. Service was poor, to be honest, and the food was just OK. We wished we'd waited an extra 30 minutes and eaten at Ginger as that looked very nice. The food court, called National Market, looked promising. On our next trip, we'll try Honey's Fried Chicken and Donuts and/or Pappas Crabcakes. I saw a couple enjoying the crabcakes and they looked huge and lumpy without much filler. I'd like to compare them to some of the crabcakes that I enjoy around Baltimore.
