    so I know some people have seen the LUCKY LUCKY text on the blackjack felt at MGM Grand lately.

    but it turns out that's not just for show. it's a new carny side bet that MGM is pushing.

    I just read about it in the latest mailer they sent out.

    good info.

    Total HA is under 2.7%, so really not a bad deal as carny bets go.

    Used to be 2:1 on 19 as well and 15:1 on Suited 21.

    Things have gone down hill.

    when you and B.S. were playing BJ at Aria with the disco queen, his first two cards were 6c, 7c, and the dealer's upcard was 8c. He was commenting that if he bet that, he would have had the straight flush 21
