I have another business trip to Singapore upcoming and was wondering if anybody has experience at MBS? I've been to SG a number of times, just have never had the free time to venture to MBS, but this time I will.

What are the gaming conditions like? What type of games are prevalent? It's it worth taking the short taxi ride there? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I know @natedog666 goes there sometimes. He might be able to chime in. I think he did a tr on here also if you look for it.

Thanks, will take a look for it. Figure that I can waste a few hours there in between the end of my meetings and my midnight flight home.

I'm sure it would be worth a short taxi ride to check it out, even if you don't play there. That way when you return to Singapore you will know the conditions.

I'm not sure if my TR is helpful on game selection though. MBS has basically most casino games you would look for and some interesting Singaporean variants. For instance lots of BJ games, but basically all worse for you than any decent Vegas casino.

There are craps, only difference being you have to pay for the buy on 4 and 10 ahead of time, 345 odds .

Virtually no comps but free serve yourself fountain drinks and water.

Appreciate the replies. I'm sure I'll end up over there, have no better option to kill a few hours before a flight, and don't want to walk around the MBS mall.

For BJ, do they follow US or Euro rules for the hole card? Anything else about BJ that might be out of the ordinary?

I was just in Macau and it's all Euro BJ. I'm pretty sure it would be the same but I'll defer to Nate. They also offered side bets for BJ such as first 2 cards over/under 13 (ace counts as 1) and pair bets.

On BJ rules, they do, at least, return your splits and doubles if the dealer pulls a blackjack.

In addition to fountain drinks, beers are comped at the S$100 (approx US$75) tables.
